The seminar on "Aluminum in Architectural Applications and Its Place in the Future" was held with the presentations Asaş Alüminyum Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. of Ersoy ÇAKIR, Technical Manager of Aluminum Systems, and Ömer DABANLI, Faculty Member of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency within the scope of our university, Aluminum Testing Education and Research Center (ALUTEAM) Training activities.
In the seminar, architectural developments in the construction sector where aluminum is used at a high rate and the possible effects of these developments on aluminum were discussed. Among the topics of the seminar, it was emphasized that life has become dynamic and living spaces have started to participate in this dynamism. It was emphasized that especially the facades (directly aluminium) stand out in the dynamic structure. It was emphasized on the facades that architecture alone is no longer sufficient and will have to work with many engineering branches (mechanics, electronics, air conditioning, etc.).
In addition, many guests from the business and academia world attended the seminar and exchanged views on related issues.
