A seminar titled "Brand, Innovation and Patent" was held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 with the participation of Address Patent General Manager Ali Çavuşoğlu and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of our University Prof. Dr. Fevzi Yılmaz within the scope of Aluminium Test Training and Research Center (ALUTEAM) Training activities and with the support of Istanbul Development Agency. Our University Clubs also support our seminar work.
Between Turkey's 2023 targets for attaining the export target of $ 500 million it was mentioned impossibility of producing three times and emphasized the importance of branding. New idea / product development (Innovation) processes and gains were mentioned. Countries with high innovation density and their reasons were mentioned on the diagram. The concepts of patent and utility model were explained at the point of protecting the created idea. The contributions of patent and utility model to companies and universities were mentioned. Turkey has been mentioned in the patent have a vision enhancement, It was stated that patent development should be included among the 2023 targets. It was discussed with a joint opinion how to support individuals and companies in order to increase the number of patents.
