At the end of the fall internship training program that lasted 144 hours, the participants were presented with certificates.
The Summer/Fall Internship Training Program, designed within the scope of the training activities carried out within ALUTEAM, gave its new graduates. The program, which was opened for the fall semester of 2022, started in January 2022 with a quota of 4 people. The lessons, which were carried out in two teams, lasted 144 hours in total.
The training program opened within the ALUTEAM Materials Unit continued for 5 days on weekdays. In the program, in which an intensive training program was followed, the participants had the opportunity to meet with expert teams. On the other hand, the participants, who had the opportunity to work one-to-one in the laboratories, were informed about how the demands from the sector were evaluated.
The content of the program was prepared by expert teams
Metallography: Sample Coding, Cutting, Molding, Metallography: Sample Polishing, Etching, Microscope: Specimen Inspection, Chemical Analysis (OES): Sample Preparation, Analysis, Mechanical Test (Tension Test): Sample Control, Measurement, Tensile, Mechanical Test (Hardness Test): Sample Preparation, Vickers, Knoop, HRC, HB Tests, SEM-EDS: Sample Preparation, Inspection, Surface Roughness: Sample Inspection, Corrosion Test: Sample Sanding, Polishing, Corrosion Analysis, TGA-DSC Analysis: Sample Preparation, Analysis, Additive Manufacturing DMLS, SLS Production Preparation, Product Extraction and lab work which is classified as a syllabus, was programmed to last 144 hours.
On the last day of the program, evaluation speeches were made at the closing organization where the entire ALUTEAM team participated. Students, who also had the opportunity to complete their compulsory internship within the scope of the education program, took the floor at the closing meeting and had the opportunity to share their program experiences.
The content of the training program, which will be reopened for different groups in the summer term, will be developed in the light of the evaluation speeches.
