The seminars carried out within the scope of the "Energy Efficiency and Reduction of Greenhouse Gases in Aluminium Manufacturing Plants" project carried out with the cooperation of our university's Aluminium Test Training Research Center and GALSİAD (Entrepreneurial Aluminium and Industrialists Businessmen Association) and the support of Istanbul Development Agency continue.
"For the Efficient Use of Plant: Storage and Management" seminar in Ersaş Aluminum Executive Manager Esat Erdurak and Würth Industrie Service Turkey General Manager Dr. Murat Güven made their presentations on Friday, July 24, 2015.
First of all Würth Industrie Service Turkey General Manager Dr. Murat Güven made his presentation at the seminar which began with opening speech of Aluminum Test Education and Research Center Manager Asst. Assoc. Dr. Ebubekir Koç. Güven stated that inventory costs are one of the most important expense items for a business, and gave information about the Kanban system, which was developed to reduce these costs and to make a systematic stocking.
The seminar continued with the presentation of Ersaş Aluminum Managing Director Esat Erdurak. Introducing Ersaş Aluminum stocking methods with videos, Erdurak emphasized that the storage and transportation process of aluminum is as costly as the production process and the points that need to be considered in this regard. At the end of the presentation of Esat Erdurak, who introduced his newly developed stock method in our seminar for the first time, the question and answer part was started.
Efficient Use of Inside the Factory: At the end of the Stocking and Management seminar, Esat Erdurak and Marbling paintings prepared by Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University Faculty of Fine Arts students were presented to Dr. Murat Güven.
