AMCTURKEY ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING CONFERENCE, which was formed with the initiative of scientists conducting research within the scope of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University, Marmara University, Sabancı University, Gazi University and Middle East Technical University, took place in Istanbul Green Park Hotel Pendik.
AMC TURKEY Additive Manufacturing Conference, the first of which was held in 2019, appeared before its audience with the second one this year. Organized on-site and digitally, the conference was realized with the sponsorship of international technology companies. The secretariat of the conference, in which ALUTEAM was among the supporting institutions, was also carried out by our team, as in the first.
The decision to publish the studies accepted within the scope of AMC TURKEY 2021 in the newly established "Journal of Additive Manufacturing Technologies" was a first. The sessions, which covered many topics such as Hybrid Processes, Process Planning for Additive Manufacturing, and New Materials for Additive Manufacturing, continued for two days.
AMC TURKEY Conference, which carries out its activities with the aim of being a bridge between academia and industry in the field of Additive Manufacturing Technologies, became the meeting point of the relevant sector stakeholders in this field.
