Vocational trainings within the scope of the Aluminium Test Training and Research Center Guided Project started which is carried out with the cooperation of our University Aluminum Test Training and Research Center (ALUTEAM), Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Association (IDDMIB) and the Entrepreneurial Aluminum Industrialists and Businessmen Association (GALSİAD) and the support of Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA).
In the first training held in ALUTEAM conference hall on Friday, September 23, Sakarya University Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department Head Prof. Dr. Calm Olive informed the participants about "Heat Treatment Processes of Aluminium Alloys: Analysis and Synthesis".
In the training consisting of five parts,
- Metals, Aluminium, Aluminium Alloys
- Classification, Casting and Wrought Alloys, Alloying Elements
- Strength Increase Mechanisms, Heat Treatment Operations, Types of Temper
- Heat Treatment Procedures, Parameters, Structure Analysis
- Long Products, Shaped Parts, Macro and Micro Control Processes were discussed.
During the interactive training, participants asked questions and ideas with Prof. Dr. Zeytin. The training which also contributed by Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of our University Prof. Dr. Fevzi Yılmaz, and many companies from the sector and students from various universities participated, ended with a general evaluation. At the end of the training, the participants visited the Aluminum Test Training and Research Center and received information about the center activities and projects.
