Heat-Energy Test Laboratory

This laboratory was established under the increasing Energy Efficiency and Greenhouse Gases Reduction Project in Aluminum Manufacturing Facilities ama (EVK-0017), supported by ISTKA.

Thermal Imaging Tests and Measurements

Thermal imaging is used for the control, inspection and measurement of heat generating, heat transfer and heat generating systems. (In buildings, furnaces, motors, electrical circuits, moving systems, etc.)

It is used to control, verify and determine the effects of systems where temperature changes and / or temperature increase / decrease rates are important.

Flue Gas Analysis Test

It will be used to determine the efficiency of combustion in burner systems and to make the necessary arrangements for ideal combustion. It is also used to check the suitability of the system.

Ambient Quality Measurement Test

It is the determination of heat changes, air flow rates, humidity (including sensible humidity) and air quality that affect the efficiency of the employees in the working environment. It is ensured to determine the effect of indoor quality on the employees and to increase employee efficiency with correct intervention. In addition, sudden changes and the effects of these changes can be interpreted by analyzing the materials.

Energy quality is an important factor in machine / equipment life and cost reduction. For the quality energy, it is important that the energy is stable, the voltage and the frequency remain constant, the power factor is compatible with the quality of the devices, the phase voltages are balanced and the current and voltage harmonic quantities remain at certain values.
